testosterone injections
|
|
|
| hello. I was having some performance problems and found that viagra
or levitra alone did not solve. I had blood work done and found I
have low testosterone levels. I have begun using injected T to help.
Has anyone in the group gone this route and what success (or failure)
can you report?
Thanks,
Mark

A number of us have, Mark. I went through a long and expensive treatment
process involving everything from HMG to HCG to gel before going to
injections. Here's what *I* found.
Viagra and cialis was very unreliable while I had the low T count. That
changed to about 98% reliable after starting injections. The big advantage
was improved cognitive function and energy, and a sense of "well being". I
would honestly say that the sexual function was down on the list of
advantages. I mean it was there, but not near as vivid as the other effects.
I inject 100-120mgs of depo per week. Weekly injections have been found to
be very preferable over longer periods. If you keep your T level over 600
ng/dl, I think that over time you'll see a huge difference.
That's just my experience, YMMV. You may want to ping Wanderer or Tallen on
this group for other experiences.

That is encouraging!

so the added T does not automatically translate into a healthier sex
life? or extra T plus the viagra or the like does the trick?

Was 600 your target or the level you found to be the most beneficial
over all?

I am new to this group and not sure who they are. Hopefully they will
see these posts.
Thanks for the info.

Here are my test results, the lab test both estradiol and estrone for a
little
less than 70 dollars. +
The results list a value for estrone as 18 pg/mL and the normal
range for as less than 80.
My estradiol is stated as >20 pg/mL in a normal range of 0-56 pg/mL.
Then they total the value for >38 in a range of less than <136.
Estrone (E1) is much less estrogenic than estradiol. One of the reason
certain drugs cause problems for men is than they slow the
metabolization of E2 to E1
Another Lab recently reported my values 25 in a range of 19-67
for E2 and 29 for E2 with no range provided.
The values were also added for a total of 54 in a
range of 29-127 pg/mL

Hello, does anyone have some doctors that I could contact for a
referral? I am in Asia and would like to have the above mentioned
tests done. I would like contact an expert in the US and possibly get
a referral.
Thanks.

I had a boost in libido, and spontaneous erections again appeared. Nocturnal
erections became very regular. The extra T (normal levels) plus, I now use
generic viagra from Josh (any supplier will do) have actually given me "on
demand" ability. I'm in my 50's.

It was both. I have gone higher, and found no additional benefit. The "48 hr
after injection test" has shown around 800, and the "day before injection"
test has shown around 450.

My lab tests, along with several other peoples at the time, were posted
here. Google for it, and also under my former nic, "sin loi", which was
abandoned because of a miscreant using the same nic. I only had free tested
once, along with SHBG levels to make sure that area was OK. In summary I was
at 249 ng/dl when starting therapy, 5 grams of androgel took me to 199 (just
enough to shut down the HPT axis), 10 grams took me to 300 ng/dl. 1 1/2
years on the gel before abandoning.

My PSA remains around .5 as long as I do estrogen control.

I use Depo-Testosterone. I think if you do some research on the different
types, you'll find that Sustanon is actually the bee's knee's for therapy
because of the short and long mixture, but is not authorized in the U.S.
I use Dim and 40 grams of zinc a day to keep the E's down, and estradiol
maintains below 32 pg/dl.

I know this particular portion was not written by me, but to answer
this question my total T was under 300 twice. I got the gel and used
it for more than a year and the total was still under 400. I forget
the exact free T number but it was low.

mine was .31.

| I live in Mindanao Island of the Philippines, before I got a penis
overhaul I used to get a shot of Testosterone every six months for the
erection and sexual problems. I was married to a young Filipino and she
drained me nightly and morning. But I finally went out, paid $5500 and
got a penile inplant that gives me an erection for 55 minues before
deflating. I am a old goat and tthe only good thing on me is my penile
overhaul which still produces when needed. Goldenman54

I just started with T cypionate, 200 mg shot. The plan is to take
this every two weeks. Other than the sexual benefits, did you feel
any changes? Since I got the shot, I have felt a little different.
Very hard to describe in words. I can best describe it as being a
little off balance, not dizzy, but a little tense. By that I don't
mean enraged, just tense.
At the dosage I described, any prospect of problems with estrogen?

Most efficient/least side effects for most of us has been 100-120mgs once a
week.
