My Uro has said that he doesn't care how much I take. I'd assume he
would track patient usage more closely if he was concerned about
tolerance. Some posts in this group indicate declining response to V
after 6 mos to a couple of years of use. Other posts indicate long-term
usage with no tolerance and some guys titrate downward from a high
dose--another vote for 'no tolerance.'
Many posts indicate that V's side effects 'fade out' with continued use
-- that was my experience. Since the major Viagra side effects are
"slop over" (I understand that this isn't a legit medical term) onto
other nucleotides like PDE6 it would logically follow that there's
something like tolerance going on.
I'm dosing 10mg of Levitra 3x each week and am getting the same response
as when I started 7 mos ago. I also use a small Viagra 'booster' when
needed and that seems to be working as advertised. Overall, I'm almost
48 months into oral PDE5 inhibitors and they are still working.
