I feel bad that something fell off the charts before I got a chance to try
it.

I see references to it being used for Parkinsons disease (apomorphine), but
not a thing about it as an ED drug. I know somebody here used it before with
non-impressive results, I remember the post from a few years ago or so.

What was the deal with its going away?

I'm with you, man. This was one I always wanted to try, but all the posts I
saw on it seemed negative. And I think there were a few guys that passed out
during the US trials. Curiously enough, William Burroughs, the beat writer,
wrote about apomorphine years ago. He used it to beat his heroin addiction,
and swore by it for that purpose, although the drug was only used by that one
oddball doctor as an addiction therapy.

As I recall, Uprima has atropine-like qualities and can cause an increase in
blood pressure. For that reason, I wouldn't expect that it would be good
choice for most men with ED. Maybe the liability was too high or the
potential market was too small to test and market the drug.

I bought some online last year and gave it a shot. It can't be swallowed
like the others but needs to be dissolved under the tongue. The first time
I took it I had had a few drinks and remember feeling extremely nauseous.
The second time, during the day, it didn't seem to help much either. I've
had much better results with the -afils.

I don't think it was ever "here" if you mean in the USofA. It was approved in
Europe, but not in the US.

I tried some Apomorphine, same as Uprima. First in 3 mg sizes, then later in
6mg. Some odd side effects: Yawning, sometimes I just wanted to take a nap
after taking the dose. Once I noted that I hat turned white, felt like
fainting. Sometimes it seemed to work, but not by itself. I needed some Liqiud
Cialis before using the Apomorphine. I was hoping that it would help me with
the anorgasmia that was possibly caused by the Cialis or earlier use of
Viagra. It did seem to help about 1/2 the time, but it is scarey stuff. I use
Yohimbine now to help with anorgasmia, with reasonable success.
Not really sure whether it raises blood pressure or not. My notes from 2004
imply that bp does go up, but the yawning, tiredness and near fainting sound
like reduced bp. As I recall it was expensive, and since the results are not
an overwhelming "Wow", I probably won't buy more.
