Long term use of meds?

| Any anecdotes, studies, or other info on the effects of taking an ED
med long term? I've just started using Cialis and plan to take 10 mg a
day indefinitely. If I keep this up for years, are there any risks?
A cialis specific question - I've heard its better to take 20 mg every
other day than 10 mg daily. Anyone try it both ways? Why would this
be? It seems like 10 mg daily would better ensure you always have
enough Cialis in you to do the trick.

A very common question here. Long term effects, no, but the short term
effects are known. Myself and some other people find that the benefits
of the drug drop quickly and after two weeks of daily dosing, it ceases
to work until you quit taking it for a few days or so and then restart.
The time varies with the individual.

I personally found that 5 mg daily was the best dosage. Your mileage
will vary. Except for short spurts (uh, no double meaning intended),
like while we're on vacation, I only take it when needed.

Love that, IB.
I have done just about every combo possible from 10 mg daily to 20 very
other day long term. Results do vary as with physiological/psychological
states.
I have some of Josh's generics from around 2-3 years ago. Lately I have
suspected that it's losing it's "punch", and have done 40 mg's a couple of
times, with the results being frequent erections and big grins.
Not a regular habit.

Which reminds me, my first order from Josh was 22 months ago.
I separated the pills into several small containers and froze some, but
left the rest unrefrigerated. The frozen bottle that I just removed
from the frig is stronger that the room temperature bottle. The
previous time I checked frozen vs. unfrozen supply, I could tell no
difference, but now at 22 months, there is a difference and the frozen
ones work the best. There will be no more tests, as the last of the
never frozen tablets have now been used.

I still have pills I got from Josh in July 2003. I had ordered a bunch of
pills a bunch of different ways (India and two different ways from Josh). I
still have some. They seem just slightly weaker; but then, it could be me.
