Gentlemen,
I would like to touch base with men who have situations similar to mine
so I can compare notes about our progress and get some idea of what to
expect. I am 58 and had laparoscopic radical prostatectomy on 7-15-05.
The nerves were not saved, unfortunately, but my post operative
surgical margins were clean and my PSA is undetectable, so the
prognosis is as good as can be expected. I began using an Osbon VED at
the end of July and have yet to have anything remotely like a real
erection, although I can see a bit of progress in terms of size. The
Osbon people said it can take up to a year to come up with anything
usable, so don't be impatient. So far there has been no reason to try
the rings that come with the VED since they are only useful when you
get something big enough to work with and I've a long way to go. I
would like to communicate with others who have been through anything
like this and especially what other things they may have tried (pills,
injections etc.), and when, and what the results were. I am able to
produce an orgasm with stimulation, by the way, and they are better
than I had before! I don't know why but I'm not complaining.
Thanks, Milton
