A lot of people here seem to be very knowlegdable, so I'd appreciate if
if you could answer some questions for me.

Currently I'm suffering from the following: I still get erections,
not as frequent but I do get them. Very few, if any, morning erections
but sometimes at night. The moment I'm aware of my erection, boom, it's
gone.
When I make love to my girlfriend I also get an erection, sometimes
hard, sometimes not as hard, and again, when I'm aware if it it gone.
Al this results in that I think of my (none working) penis all the time
- not good I know. Btw, I'm 41, not suffering from any illness (except
that I feel mentally tired all the time - no depression btw!) and I'm
fairly good shape.

What have I tried so far:

Cialis - It works but my penis does get soft after having penetrated a
while. Erections are more frequent for a fairly long period of time
after taking the pill.
Viagra - Again, it works and my penis does stay harder compared to
Cialis. Pill doesn't have as long an effect as Cialis unfortunately

I'm currently also seeing a Urologist, Neurologist and a Sexologist.
With these guys I'm having my testosteron checked, talk about Venous
Leakage and performance anxiety. My T level is 15,7 (they measure from
0 - 35 here). I'm not sure if this is low enough to get worried, plus,
I'm not sure what else to check. I also talked about Venous Leakage and
according to my doctor, nothing can be done about that, is that true at
all. Furthermore, I don't really get properly aroused any more by
anything (Yes, I do find my girlfriend VERY attractive, thank you very
much!). It's all very nice and pleasant but not really horny, if you
know what I mean. Could this be arousal disorder and if so, what can be
done about it.

I don't really look forward to using pills all the time. I'm fairly
young and just want to make love without any distracting hassle, plus,
those damn pills are VERY expensive. I do use a pill cutter but the one
I have doesn't cut very cleanly so any tips on what you guys use would
be appreciated.

Well, a lot of information here and a lot of questions, I hope you can
help me out! Thanks in any case!

I believe that venous leakage is one of those quick and easy diagnoses.

I believe it's possible that a person can feel that way in order not to face
the problems they have with erections. Kind of like, stopping th3 problem
before it starts.

Let's get you to where you're performing well, before deciding what not to
do.

These pills you're cutting; what's the chance you should be taking a whole
pill?

I presume you know about checking your other meds and not to drink vassal
constrictors (any caffeinated drinks like coffee or coke), a number of hours
before sex. And not do eat a number of hours before taking the pills.

If you're still having problems, consider the shots. They will also let you
know if you really have venous leakage.

With all the professional help you are getting, I can't see addressing any
of the specifics of your situation. I can say that I relate to your
symptoms and I think you are doing the right thing by considering all the
possibilities. As for the pills, no one would relish taking medication, but
it seems that most people are taking at least one drug these days-
hypertension, cholesterol, depression, hair loss, etc., everyone seems to
have at least one chronic condition that benefits from taking medications.

The issue of cost can be addressed by purchasing from nontraditional
sources. For instance, All Day Chemist has 180 tadalafil (Cialis), 20mg,
for $129. If you split them it comes out to 360, 10mg doses @ 36 cents
each. I find that taking 10mg a day works better than taking 20mg every two
or three days. It takes five days of consistent doses to reach a steady
state. Their generic viagra works out to about 26 cents for a 50 mg dose.
The prices do no include shipping which can add $30 or more per purchase.

As for splitting pills, you can purchase pill cutters. There are special
cutters for the diamond shaped pills. Some people here recommend using
nippers from the hardware store. Many of the generic producers make flat,
scored, uncoated pills that are designed to be split easily without any
tools. The advantage of these pills is that they quickly dissolve under your
tongue which gets the medication into your bloodstream immediately without
regard to what or when you have eaten

Is that true for Cialis as well, or only for Viagra (which is what I
had heard)?

Thanks for all the help and info in any case. Very much appreciated. I
will try All Day Chemists, although I'm somewhat hesitant as to
customs-interception to be honest!

As to Venous Leakage, is that curable at all??

There are some treatments, but I don't know much about them. Here is a
google search that might get you started:

I'm not really sure. I take Cialis before going to bed, or in the middle of
the night. Anyway, a number of hours before expecting any reaction.
