| Anyone here have experience with the penile implant? I am two years post
prostate surgery and totally impotent. My experience with the shots and
pump was unsatisfactory and I am getting to the point where I am seriously
thinking about the implant. I had ED problems before the surgery and the
doctors tell me that there is very little chance that I will regain natural
sexual function at this point. The pills do nothing, except the stuffy nose
and "blue haze" effect with too much Viagra.
Thank you.

From what I've heard, the nerves grow back at about a millimeter per day.
And in your surgery, it can take two years to regenerate, if at all. You
might give it a little more time.

Sorry. One is enough.

No experience yet but I'm scheduled for an implant later this month.
The post-op period has me a little concerned but the long term benefits
seem good. I've tried researching the web but have found limited
information. The manufacturers website (AMS 700) has a good bit of
information of the proceedure including an opertating room manual.
Maybe they figure you'll find one on ebay and use if for a weekend DIY
project. Build a deck on the house or cut myself open and install a
penile implant? Decisions Decisions.
If you happen to find additional sources or others who've had it done
please post them here. I'd like to find our as much as I can.

Over the years I have seen many people come here with what we, as males,
consider one of the most serious problems we can encounter.
I always have, and always will, admire someone who can find mirth among the
muck.

I try to find humor in most/all situations. If you make a joke then you
know the people are laughing with you and not at you.
