| I got another question for the injection gurus.
I've got some HCG already and another vial on the way.
I've got some Clomid on the way.
I also got some HMG (Repronex) and am not sure what the dose
should be and how often it's needed. I bought 5 vials of
75 iu each.
Any experiences?

I'm not a guru, but I do have the T-shirt on that one.
As I recall, and it was over 2 years ago, Endo started me on HMG, @ 150iu 3
X week, I had weekly tests, titrated to 450iu 3 X week over 6 week period,
stayed there for 6 mos, switched to HCG @ 5,000iu 3 X week, and i believe it
was 15,000iu that I titrated to for 6 mos.
Insurance covered it, and the HMG was *very* expensive.
If your HPT axis is intact, you will most certainly know after the first
week @ 3 X week. My Endo was a man of faith, and felt that even after 12 mos
we had a chance. I felt otherwise.

| Thanks, that helps. Looks like I'll only have enough for the one week
then. Maybe it will boost things along.

In the A.A.C.E. guidelines, the prescribed procedure for testing wether
hypogonadism is primary or secondary is a large hcg injection with a test
24-48 hours later for a spike in testosterone level.
http://www.aace.com/clin/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf
So, you may want to go that route before investing $$$. If the testicles
decided to retire, it ain't gonna do you no good.
BTW, HMG acts more on the sertoli cells, increasing sperm count, whereas HCG
acts more on the leydig cells, increasing testosterone. I'll spare you the
FSH/LSH paths, they're widely available on the web.
