For me, Arginine base causes flatulence. Have any of you arginine users, who
have experienced this side effect, tried any of the following, and did they
cause gas too (or not)?
Arginine HCL
Arginine Pyroglutamate
Arginine Alphaketoglutarate
L-Citrulline
L-Citrulline Malate
Thanks!

I've found that L-Arginine Base works best for me. Flatulence was a
problem in the beginning, but it quickly goes away. Don't waste time
with the expensive pills. The dose is too low and you don't always know
what they used as filler. Buy it in bulk. Two sources of bulk are
www.kilosports.com and www.jomarlabs.com.
http://www.jomarlabs.com/main/feature.asp?familyid=1000 is a direct link
to the product family.
I've used both suppliers and both sell a good product.
I initially used the Solgar brand of L-Arginine, but that brand gave me
extreme flatulence. Taking it during the day with food can also cause
flatulence.
L-Arginine should only be taken on an empty stomach at bed time to yield
the maximum benefits. When taken this way, the flatulence problem is
lessened, if not completely eliminated. I take two teaspoons of powder
at bedtime. If I have had any food for the three hours prior to
bedtime, I simply skip the dose that night.
Normally, I would not answer a post 4 months old, but I've been away for
a while and just saw it, and don't see that anyone ever answered you.

I've got some jomar base. Is there anything that it can be mixed with to
make
it a little more palatable, that doesn't make the mix horrid also.
I know one thing it should NEVER, EVER be mix with; MILK.
God that was horrible. Worst shit I ever tasted. "Fear Factor" should find
out
about that little mixture.
I've used orange juice and that helps some, but it makes the o.j. kind of
nasty;
even.
(Not as bad as milk, though)

Sorry, I can't help you there. However, you have one thing to look
forward to; Many times the ability to taste many foods fails a few
years after the old pecker fails. L-A, when dissolved in warm water,
only has a very faint chalky taste to me.
