I've only found a few articles on this which is supposed to enhance
people's libidos. But it's real science. Are there more articles than
the obvious ones in Google and Wiki?

CBS ran a piece on it late last year or early this year (at the time it
wasn't called PT-141--they were referred to it as "melanotan"). The
hope of thousands is that it might cut through dysfunction that results
from taking anti-depressants. Regardless of what Tom Cruise says, that
would be a real godsend!

Looks like the male trials will be complete this winter and female
trials in 2006. I'm not holding my breath for an early release though
-- the current Congressional 'thought police' that knocked 'V'
reimbursement out of the Medicare package will probably jawbone the FDA
into "certifying that this stuff is really, really, really, really
safe..." -- that might take years.

Probable approach will be to get it approved for suntanning and talk the
Uros into some "off label" uses. (:-) ...Paul
