Caverject Strange Results - new to this

| I have just started to use Caverject and had mixed results and wondered
if anyone had any suggestions.
At the doctors office, I had a test dose injected (did it myself) of
0.5 ml into the right hand side of my penis. This took effect within 5
minutes and lasted about 1 hour.
I tried 0.75 ml at home into the left side and it had zero effect and I
mean zero. It seemed that the stuff went in ok.
I then tried 0.75 ml (a few days later) into the right side about the
same spot as the doctors office. This worked within 2 mins and lasted
2 hours !
I haven't tried again yet.
Any suggestions ? If it safe to always inject on the right side if I
change the spot ?

| Hi,
I have good news for you.
It is very easy to have an unreliable injection with either trimix which I
prefer or caverject.
The walls are laying agianst each other in the flacid penis making it very
tough to stop the needle between the sides.
Best to tease the penis to get some blood in the penis cavity then squeeze
the blood toward the head and hold tight while you inject into the nearly
erect diameter on either side about midway down. Go in horizontal on the
side. Bury the needle before unloading the syringe. This insures you are in
the cavity and getting the benefit of the ingredients. You can get scar
tissue when you inject into the lining by mistake.

You seem to indicate the second shot was the same day, or right after you
got home from the first shot. If so, you'll find a number of thing prevent a
good reaction to the injections. Coffee (coke or any caffeine), heavy
exercise, and in this case, time since last erection. In other words, you
can't just keep a continual erection by continued injection. You'll need
time between erections. Just like before you needed the shots.

| Jerry,
Thanks for the response. You certainly seem to be the voice of
experience on this NG.
My first shot was in the doctors office. All went well.
Second shot was 4 days later (no Coffee or Coke that day. Light bike
riding a few hours before). No response to that injection at all.
Third shot was 1 day after that. All ok with that one.
I wonder if I didn't get the shot in the right place at the second
attempt.
thanks,
Chris

| Chris;
Even though you had a good response injecting on one side and not the other,
there is some other fluke ocurring because the two cavernosal chambers are
connected and the drug moves easily from one chamber into the other, opening
the gates so to say, to both.
Do what ernest suggested and do alternate sides. I've found that sometimes
my libido might be high but my mind/body are kind of sapped from a busy day
and things don't respond as they do when I am not sapped. Do some
experimenting. But don't re-inject more if less didn't work in the first
place. There is a theory that the C. chambers need some time to relax out
between shots. That may make some sense.

| Hi,
I tried to inject in about 8 hours and got no response as it seems it was
too soon as the smooth muscles need about 24 hours to recover.
IF you try and inject every day you may need about 10% more to get the same
reaction from your smooth muscles.
