Just to let everyone know of another successful order from
jupiterpharmacy.com. They send in an ordinary half-letter size brown
envelope with the medications taped to lie flat. If you don't order
too much it looks like an envelope with papers inside. This is my
second successful order of Meridia (Obestat is the Cipla brand name).
That drug is awesome. Down nearly 20 lbs since the middle of December,
and another 20 to go, and completely painlessly. This order is enough
to finish the job.

If you google on Meridia you can get a lot of information.

Most common side effect: Dry mouth.

OK, so you want to drink a lot of water. This is bad?

Less common, but more worrisome side effect: High blood pressure.

OK, most of us older overweight dudes are already on pills for blood
pressure. And we probably already have a home blood pressure monitor.
So just keep on top of it. If you need to increase your blood pressure
meds, do so. As your weight comes down, the blood pressure will come
down too. Personally, the Meridia did not increase my blood pressure
more than a negligible amount. My experience is typical. A ver small
percentage of patients experience a signficant increase in blood
pressure.

BS information: It's a Class 4 controlled substance so you're you're
going to get addicted. What a crock. Class four is the lowest, not the
highest. No way are you going to become addicted. It is classed as a
controlled substance because it messes with your serotonin levels. But
its effects are so slight that no one needs to worry about it.

What does it do? Well, it has two main effects. First, it kills hunger
pangs. You can literally go all day long and never notice that you are
hungry. Second effect is that it increases your metabolism slightly.
This causes you to burn a few more calories. It's also the part that
might increase blood pressure.

A not-so-well reported side effect is that it tends to modify eating
habits. When I started on it (10 mg, once a day) back in December the
first thing I noticed was that I had no hunger pangs, in spite of not
eating. Cool! But over time I noticed a shift in what I wanted to eat.
For example, I usually started my day with 20 oz coffee, to which I
added powdered milk and artificial sweeteners. After a week on Meridia
I no longer wanted the powdered milk or artificial sweeteners. A week
later and I didn't even want the coffee. Nowadays when I get up I just
want 10-12 oz of plain water. I also changed what sounds good to eat.
Nowadays I have a salad every evening. It's just about all I want to
eat. It's kind of strange, but all I want to eat now are low-calorie
healthy foods.

Your mileage may vary, of course. But it's been a godsend to me
personally!
