| I realize this off topic, but i can't seem to find a group that is
quite as useful as this one. It is on topic as far as generic overseas
goes though.
anyone tried any of the generic propecia's?
are there health risks that i need to be aware of before attempting to
use one?
do they work?
any info on this would be good, or a point in the right direction would
be awesome too.
thanks guys.

Wow, I think there's a support group for just that thing, however, you'll
get some replies here, for sure.

Yeah, the product blocks DHT. DHT causes male pattern baldness and is an
important element of libido/sexual function.

Sure, you'll have less hair loss, and probably be back here
trying to find out how to get the equipment working again.
Some have said in the past here that they got irreversible sexual
dysfunction from it. I have never touched the stuff (if you could see me
you'd *know* that's the truth!).
It's a male hormone blocker and is used in higher doses to treat male
prostate cancer.

| Read some here:
finasteride_side_effects@yahoogroups.com
before you consider Propecia. My read is that the negative fallout these
guys experience seems more confined to younger men, twenties and thirties,
than older. (Some using it have no negative effects, it is true, but Buyer
Beware).

| I've been using propecia from India (made by Cipla) for about 2 years.
Works great and I've had no noticable side effects. I have read that
sexual side effects are not likely at the 1 mg level, which is the
level for hair loss prevention.
