The compounding pharmacies that provide hormone pellets do not advertise
much but if a doctor has been motivated to include hormone pellets in his
list of hormone therapies, he can find his way to suppliers and the
information for receiving training in the use of the surgical tool used to
install them called a trocar.
Dr. R. Don Gambrell, Augusta, GA has trained many doctors in the use of the
trocar. He has been treating both men and women with hormone therapy for
decades. His mentor, Dr. Greenblatt also of Augusta was a pioneer in hormone
therapy beginning in the 50's.
