| Here is my dilemma. I've been suffering for ED for over a year since I
got married. My T level has been going down since I had it tested
November of 2003. I initially started on Testosterone injections and
that helped but after 2 weeks started having problems again. I then
started to take viagra and other ed drugs and that helped and then ed
symptoms started to appear again. I then went to an endocronologist
tested my testosterone and it was even lower. Endo started me on t-gel
and that worked for a couple of days and effect went down. I then
stopped taking anything and was able to perform maybe once or twice a
week. I then started having difficulty even doing that. I started up
on the ed drugs again and decided to see another endo. Endo had T
taken and it was lower even then the previous time around 240 ng/dl.
The doctor was even surprised. Took prolactin and fsh, and lsh and
everything was normal. Now he wants me to see a urologist and possibly
get a biopsy of the testicles to see if my testes are the reason for my
low testosterone. Is there any cure for ed it sounds so complicated.
if i dont take T my libido will even decline more I dont even have
morning erections that much anymore and if i do they are weak. Even
being able to perform weekly is difficult. If i do take T then many
people on this board say I take the risk of my own bodys T production
to stop and possibly be infertile. But then I could possibly be
infertile right now becaus of the low T. Its really frustrating
because I've been married for only a year. Usually this happens to
people in their 40's and 50's and is hard to deal with especially so
early on in a relationship. Why is this such a difficult issue to deal
with. I just want to know what is causing the ed and low T. If its
not pituitary glands, prolactin, and tumors what is it. I have normal
secondary charecteristics my genatalia are normal size. What is
causing my T to go down. I am obese and working on losing weight but
even for my obesity my doctor said its not normal. I am thinkin about
doing a sleep study as well as sleep apnea may have relationship with
Low T. Seems like the only solution is caverject or other trimix
injectable which can lead to scarring and peyronies as well as
priapisms. Sex is so difficult even if i do get an erection i don't
want to have sex anymore.

| Everything in the body is somehow connected, Ed; some things more directly
than others.
Obesity affects a whole lot of body performances. No matter what the doctor
tells you (your levels are abnormal even for obese people), Become Un-obese.
If you like your current Endo and are moving also to a Uro, they need to
work together in resolving the T problem and you need to work closely with
them both, more closely than you did with the first Endo. TRT has a record
for being an up-and-down thing. The problem with it is regulating the added
hormone(s). You need frequent reads to see where you are compared with
where you need to be. From what you say, it sounds that you relied on
erectile and libido changes rather than supplementary blood tests too.
Yes, the testicles tend to slow or stop producing T when you add more T
artificially. After all, why should they keep working if you are doing
their work for them?
If making babies is important to you, you need to have occasional semen
analyses to check your sperm level and motility, _while_ you try to adjust
your hormone levels. Talk with your new Uro about doing that and how often.
All ED is treatable in the sense of doing stuff to counteract it. Most men
end up happier with their erectile function after treatment . A lot of ED
treatment requires at least some trial and error process. Stay the course.
See where you get. But do work with both your doctors, making sure, too,
that they keep in good touch; and get some fat off.

| While you are following up with your doctors for the root cause of your
problem. have you considered a prescription grade pump and constriction
ring? Do a search on "Osbon Erecaid".

| Did you have a MRI done on your Pituitary gland to rule out any
tumors on it that might be causing you problems?
You might want to check into getting testosterone pellet implants to
help keep your level steady.
Here is a link to a good reference guideline for treating
Hypogonadism (Low Testosterone).

Don't worry too much about the trimix injections causing scarring or
Peyronie's. I have been using it since 1992 and haven't had any
problems with either.
