| The tracking newsgroup is the way he "keeps score" of how much damage he
has caused. Don't put yourself on display in his trophy case.

i understand the cross posting and all the problems it can cause, but
something has happened that makes me wonder how they track the
responses.
at one newsgroup, a troll posted his usual BS stuff and we had fun with
the troll.
but the troll kept coming back to the newsgroup and posting more
messages to what we said.
the newsgroups that had no posts to the troll post also had no feedback
responses either.
so, how does the troll know out of 5,000 newsgroups which newsgroup has
responded to the post? that is the question. thanks.
