| I've placed an order last week with them. Still have not received a
tracking number or any info that the order has shipped.
Concerned.
Is this typical?

My first order took a while to arrive but arrived just fine -
subsequent orders arrived faster.

The last three times I have ordered, ADC took at least a week to ship. The
last time it took 10 day. I think it depends on what day you order, but 7 -
10 days to fill the order seem normal. It then took an additional 10 days
to receive it, making the total time from order entry to receipt about 21
days.
Some items are sent regular mail and do not have tracking numbers. The
items that do have tracking numbers never seem to return accurate
information. All you get it the date they left India. I haven't figured out
how they determine which items will be sent regular and which items will be
sent registered.
In any event, if you send an email to them, it is my experience that they
will respond within a few hours or by the next day.

I think we are spoiled by quick service. Everyone pledges to ship the same
day your order is received. I was really surprised that ADC would let 10
days pass before shipping an order, but maybe life moves at a different pace
in India.
