| I Recieved this reply from Franck's Pharmacy to my inquiry
Thank you for your request on Trimix - we have been formulating such
medications for 20 years. All of our products are tested for potency and
sterility, both in house and through an outside independent laboratory. We
ensure that our products are competitively priced, easily packaged and
thoroughly tested. Typically patients use what is nicknamed standard Trimix
(30/1/10)
Regardless of what the strength is - this will always be the breakdown of
the individual drugs.
Papaverine (ranging from 9mg - 30mg/ml)
Phentolamine aka Regitine (ranging from 0.25mg - 4mg/ml)
Alprostadil aka Prostaglandin or PGE1 (ranging from 2.5mcg - 50mcg/ml)
The injection volume can range from 0.05ml up to 1ml or even more (although
we recommend going to a more concentrated formula and lowering the injection
volume)
Your urologist should be familiar with these medications and injection
procedures - if not, please refer to Dr. Goldstein's website for more
information and perhaps a referral to him. He is the leading authority on
Sexual Medicine, and we think very highly of him. Please let me know how
