I know many here are reluctant to order from online pharmacies that do not
require a prescription; I was at one time (and still am with new ones). But
so far I've placed 15+ orders with 4 different overseas pharmacies for
generic Viagra/Cialis Ambien and Ultram. All orders arrived within 3 weeks
except one, which I contacted after waiting 30 days. They sent out another
order (without charging me). It arrived via airmail, then the original order
arrived the next week finally after 45 days. Customs withheld nothing, as I
had also feared.

All the meds have worked as good or better than the overpriced non-generic
equivalents, and I am a customer for life (federal regulation changes,
notwithstanding)

A few guidelines I use:

1.With a new, unused pharmacy, order only a small amount to start (in the
rare case they are not legit).

2.Once comfortable, never make large multiple orders of the same drug on the
same order (in case Customs looks through it).

3.Price shop several pharmacies to get the best deals.

4.Order only from sites with free shipping (which also allows you to do #1
and 2 above without $ penalty).

5.Save all e-mail correspondence/verification e-mails.

6.If they sell Schedule I drugs (steroids, Oxycontin etc), they are not
legit.

Don't worry about the feds knocking on your door and hauling you off to
prison. The worst that would happen from personal use meds is Customs would
confiscate it or send it back, for which most sites should give you a
refund. Now if you try to order a case, now that's a different story.

I'm not going to list my personal pharmacies in a public forum for obvious
reasons, but legit pharmacies can be found easily...just use a search
engine.

Don't believe the scare mongers who accuse all overseas phamacies of being
scam artists. I can tell you they are not. These people are the same types
who want to lower interstate speed limits to 55, or who claim that having a
dozen alcoholic beverages in a week constitutes a "problem drinker". That,
or they're in bed with the pharmaceutical industry.

Good luck!

I ordered from a couple places, most recently from
Health-pharmacy-online.com (FREE fedex overnight!) The process was
easy, straightforward. they were helpful and polite, no problems and
bam -- got it the next day.

I don't so much agree about foreign/overseas based on what I've read
about the potential for fake and unregulated and the fact that it's
illegal. These that are legit USA based are NOT illegal -- these i've
used are legal (as long as they aren't selling these other level drugs
and use acutal doctors & pharmacists who are licensed and all that).

so for health, safety, not breaking the law -- I prefer the ones from
US, just my own personal preference for avoiding different levels of
risk. Sure, okay maybe I'll pay a little bit more (but I still save
what it would cost to go to a doctor, all the time, hassles, weird
looks & suppressed or background giggles from immature staff, etc).

I even researhced the FDA website which stated that this type of online
pharmacy IS legit when they follow the laws and they don't sell the
stuff like hydrocodone/oxycontin, etc -- those level of addictive
drugs.

AND they can provide value added service to consumers who maybe can't
get this stuff like in small towns or whatever...me, i'm also too busy
to want to take the time but it's also kind of a 'sensitive' issue for
some of us shy guys (or even those who aren't who don't want to admit
they're either curious or maybe the old loving' feeling experience just
ain't what it used to be) and I just don't want to deal with my local
drugstores if I want to sample different ED prescriptions at different
times.

so i'll stick with a USA based operation that meets my checklist and
for now for me that's health-pharmacy-online.com -- they even sent me
a coupon, and that's right up my alley!!!

That's all well and fine if you want to believe it. The fact is that drugs
fall into 5 classes. The first is over-the-count. No prescription is
required, although there are some cases where you have to sign for OTC drugs
like cough syrup. All other drugs are controlled substances. They are I,
IN, II, IIN, III, IIIN, and IV, IVN. N is for narcotic. Class I drugs have
no recognized therapeutic value and can only be used for research purposes.
The other drugs are only available by prescription. If you are getting a
prescription from a physician that you have never seen and have no personal
relationship with, then it is at best unethical. Most, if not all states,
prohibit such transactions for pet medications. There may be a loophole
that a few pharmacies are using, but don't expect that to last in this
political climate. Therefore, the USA pharmacies you deal with are at best
operating on the edge of legality. I wouldn't expect them to be above
slipping you some counterfeit or out-of-date drugs. I have seen this happen
in a couple of local pharmacies and the news is peppered with pharmacies
dispensing water instead of expensive AIDS drugs or even flu vaccine.

On the other hand, many foreign countries don't require prescriptions for
most medications. Things like antibiotic, breathing meds, statins, heart
meds, etc. can be legally dispensed without a prescription. Therefore, the
only thing unusual about them selling drugs to you as opposed to a fellow
citizen is that they hand the pills to one customer and mail them to you.
All Day Chemists, for instance, sells exactly the same breathing meds by the
same manufacturer and in the same packaging as my MIL buys here for three
times the price. Some domestic pharmaceutical companies buy bulk drugs from
Indian manufactures like Cipla. Most sell their drugs in foreign countries
for a fraction of what they demand here. The domestic pharmacy companies
spend more on advertising than they do on R&D. The fact is that tax dollars
fund most of the important pharmaceutical research in this country and drug
companies reap the benefits at the public's expense and enforce their
monopolies by spreading unfounded fear about the importation of drugs.

That's your right.

That, on the other hand, depends on where you are.

Not all of us live in the USA.
