| Will Tri Mix go bad if not refrigerated?

| For sure it will. The prostaglandin in it is expecially suseptible to
degradation from heat, even room temp. Load your syringe and return the
vial to the fridge. My uro told me that a loaded syringe can safely last
about 15 min, left out at room temp.

| Hi,
Things change regarding how to best store trimix.
It is still coming in a refrigerated container with the statement to keep it
refrigerated.
Mine came in 2 - 5ml vials so I could freeze one for later while the first
one is in the frig being used up gradually.
Now it comes in a 10ml vial with no mention of freezing. Could be just the
different approach suggested by 2 different sources.
I have taken pre-filled syringes on vacation and kept them cool when I
could, but mostly not. Did not notice any difference in the ones that were
10 days old.

| Hi Jim,
It is easy to check this.
I have left out a syringe for a day or two with no noticeable difference in
performance.
I've taken syringes on vacation with hit and miss refrigeration that worked
just fine after 10 days.

Sorry I've been gone a while.
The way I transport a syringe to take a 6 inch length of ½ inch PVC and two
'end caps.' I cut the ears off the syringe, load it and drop it in. I glued
one end to make it waterproof. After dropping in the syringe I use
electricians tape to tape on the other cap. Now it's water proof. You can
drop it in a zip-lock bag of ice and you're good to go. When you get to a
destination, like a motel, you can drop your PVC in a bucked of ice.

| Hi,
A loaded syringe is easily emptied so I found a plastic container that held
wet baby bottom wipes was just about wide enough to hold about a dozen. A
tooth brush container is another that will work with a kleenex wrapped
around inside to keep them from sliding back and forth.
No charge for this info.
