Really? You must not know anyone who was abused since those of us who do
can attest that it CAN leave big psychological scars.
Although it may be true that some people "make up" stories, but I think
the likelyhood is low since this is something that does not improve your
status or reputation.
Get annother girlfriend? Maybe, but who are we to say? maybe
counselling will help them both.
