| Hi,
Doctors are not gossips and don't hang a sign on your butt on the way out
that says you have an erection problem or ED (erectile disfunction). No one
in the community gets the word from her even if she attends the same church.
Not kidding. She has more experience with timid men than you think and will
put you at ease if she is half the doctor she is supposed to be.
Diabetics have this symptome even before they realize they are diabetic so
you might want to have the doctor check the obvious stuff out before you go
to the uro. There can be many problems that first show up as an erection
problem.
Best get a specialist urologist if your doctor says everything seems OK and
you just are having ED problems. Viagra samples or some of the other pills
for ED can help you even if it is only a psychological problem right now.
Nerves gradually get tired and the set of nerves that go to making an
erection also run differently after you get some mileage on you.
Testosterone is not a long term cure for ED unless you are very young or
very lucky. Read the book by Dr. Eugene Shippen, Reading PA. Goes for $14.95
at Barnes and Noble. Browse it even if you don't buy it to see what
testosterone therapy is all about. Us older guys need it after we drop down
into the low normal T range. I started TRT in 1991 and quickly found out I
needed another therapy for my ED which at my age was diagnosed as age
related nerve damage. Trimix is an injectible like caverject which I started
in 1992 and still use with almost the same dose and still get a very firm
erection that lasts for 2 1/2 to 3 hours depending on how much I use.

Andy, there is absolutely NO reason to feel ashamed about talking to your
Doctor about erectile dysfunction, especially if she's female! She's heard it
all and probably will be more understanding than many of the male Doctors I've
spoken to about my ED. And, since there are so many things that can effect
your ability to get and maintain an erection, the best place to start is with a
full medical exam and discussion with your Doctor on your concerns. If you
feel you would have difficulty bringing this up in discussion, write out a
description of your problem and your concerns and give it to her. She will
understand and it will help her to focus more directlly on the medical
questions to ask you. That, in turn, will help her to find a solution that
will work most appropriately for your situation.
Keep us posted on your progress.

| If you don't feel comfortable with a female doctor, get a male doctor.
Anyway you should be going to a urologist, just get her to give you a
referral.
Viagra will help you. If not, injectables will CERTAINLY help you.
Injectables will give an erection to a dead guy.
