Author Cialis tolerance (quite working after 6 weeks)

Hi. I'm 29 years old and have been having ED problems my whole life
of which is probably 75% physcological (usually good erection with
masterbation) but with some unknown unlying physical issue (or so I
think). I used Viagra a couple times when I was married with great
results but the side-effects were not fun (bad headache and flushing)
and besides my marriage sucked so I wasn't all that excited. I'm now
divorced and I met a new amazing woman 3 months ago and we've been
having sex every single day (many days twice) for the past 6 weeks all
thanks to Cialis. I've been taking the Cialis everyday to play it
safe because I didn't want to find out if it worked for the full 36
hours or not. I've been taking 5-20mg everyday and its worked great
until now. The first sign of "tolerance" was about 3 days ago where I
got a good erection but I was much more sensitive than I normally am
with Cialis so sex only lasted a couple of minutes (normally with
Cialis I have complete control over when I orgasm). The next night
all was well again so I didn't think much about it. Then she comes
over Saturday and we head straight for the bedroom. Things went well
for a couple of minutes but then I lost my erection. We tried again
later that day and it happened again even though I had taken about
15mg of Cialis that day. Then early yesterday, I took 15mg of Cialis
along with 50mg of Viagra for a little extra kick with no luck (no
penetration at all). In the past Viagra gave me severe headaches and
flushing and I always felt like my face would explode but I got very
little of that this time so it makes me thing I've built up some kind
of tolerance to these meds (which are all basically the same).

I don't understand what is going on because its worked so well for 6
weeks and I was really over my performance anxiety. Has anyone had a
similiar experience with Cialis tolerance? Luckily, my girlfriend
loves me enough and is very understanding but I'm still freaking out.
I'm hoping if I don't take anything for a few days that it will come
back and then I'll just have to take it less frequently and step down
the non-stop sex a little. I've also ordered some Levitra to try.
Maybe I shouldn't take Cialis so often since it has such a long
half-life? If this doesn't go away I don't know what I'll do and I
can't go from having sex everyday and having an amazing woman think
I'm the greatest to not ever getting an erection. I'm scared.

Any comments are welcome.

Thanks,
John

When I started Cialis, I was rock solid with only a tiny bit of stimulation,
and easily able to penetrate and keep going...
but after taking it at least every other day (20mg doses) for a month,
I still get massive erections when I wake that last for 10 minutes or so,
but once I lose it (without orgasm), it won't come back with
any amount of stimulation. My partner takes a while to "warm up",
and by then it's too late for me.
(Viagra doesn't help me.)

Having sex every day or more for six weeks? Even at 29 you're probably worn
out, how long did you think this could continue! The average 30 year old has
about 110 orgasms(masturbation included) a year according to the statistics.
Did you develope a tolerance? Probably not since you took a larger amount
when the normal amount didn't work. None of the treatments for ED whether
drug or injection produce a natural erection and basically work by dilating
blood vessels. This is only one element in obtaining an erection. Stop the
drugs for awhile and then try sex without them.

I think you should change every once in a while, for once your body starts
getting used to one pill, it kind of want to refuse it. I know it just like
that. So just don't stick with one pill.
