| I amonly in my 30's. I dont have full on impotance, but it takes alot
of manual stimulation to achieve one. It is hard enough for
penetration but not fully hard. It also goes down even more as I am
having sex.
Two weeks ago took 50 mg viagra. Had a terible reaction. Pulse went to
103. Had to sit still. Face and luips were blood red. Thought I was
going to die. This lasted for about 2 hours. For 3 days after that I
would have periods for about 10 minutes at a time where it felt as if
something was not right. Like I could not get enough air.
Told doctor about it. He gave me some Cialis. Split a 10 mg in 2. Took
half aabout an hour after a large pizza meal. Ten minutes after taking
the pill I started feeling the same way as before. Pulse went way up
although the facial flushing was not as bad. Had to sit still in the
floor of the bathroom for an hour and still did not feel right when I
went to bed 3 hours later. For several days now have head the
breathing problem on again and off again.
I think I am through with those pills. I am afraid they have doen
soemthing to me. Is there anything else I can try? I know someone is
going to talk about those rings but dont wont to use them because I
dont want my wife to know. Plus not sure if they will work if I have
trouble getting a full one to begin with.
What can I do? I know some one else will talk about shots but isn't
that too much for someone who "can" get some errection? I am also
afraid of a reaction from it or being embarassed having to tell my
wife I have to go to the hospital for a "prolonged" errection.
What can I do?

| Hey - one of the biggest parts to ED lives in the brain not in the
mechanics - why can you not discuss with your partner - relationships have
to be built on trust and openness ...

| Becasue she says it is not a problem because she just want to get it
"over with" as fast as possible.
But yet she complains when I am not "ready" She thinks if I want sex,
I should automaticaly be standing at attention!.

1) if you *don't want your wife to know* it is very probable that you
are suffering from 'performance stress'. I would bet your problem is
primarily psychological. Now, I am one that believes that 90% of
impotence IS NOT psychological, but in your case everything appears to
indicate such cause.
2) Keep away from those pills. You are apparently *oversensitive*
to such medicines. Which reinforces my impression that the causes of
your impotence might really be 'primarily psychological'.
Don't forget that our mind influences production of Nitric Oxyde,
phosphodiesterase production and others substances which influence
directly penile erection (What is sildenafil (Viagra) other than a
product which reinforces phosphodiesterase ? )
3) such accident like you have had can cause now a 'fear sindrome' which
might lead to panic wherever you are before sex. Be careful that that

your neurovegetative system, and it might take a long time perhaps
months, to recover fully.
4) Relax, do not worry. Sex MUST NOT BE a *Performance*.
Sex must be done with calmness with a woman who loves you and accepts
you the way you are, whether you 'perform' well or not.
Remember that a 'optimal performance' will be reached only when your
mind will be clear from 'stress / feelings of obligation that everything
must be perfect'. Sex must be a pleasure and not a stress. In your case
it's very clear to me that it is a stress.
Perhaps a sex therapist might help you.
Remember : the *first step* to good sexuality is in the mind.

Apomorphine is available in US but it is in a form used IV for acute attacks
of Parkinson's disease, and is also used as an emetic. The sublingual form
(I think it's only 3-4mg) and the one you want is sold as Uprima but is not
available in US and there doesn't seem to be any plan to market it in US so
you'll have to order it. I don't know what % of people benefit from it as
compared to the Viagra-like drugs but since erections are complex and are
dependant on a number of factors it's worth a try. Just because an erection
requires blood flow to the penis does not mean that drugs which dilate blood
vessels will always work. There are men with perfect blood flow with no
leakage and normal hormone levels who still can't get an erection. Try oral
drugs first, injections should be the last choice(if ever). BTW, apomorphine
is almost identical to morphine but has no narcotic effect and is not a
controlled substance so you can probably order it from one of the online
pharmacies. IMO, this drug should be tried by men who basically have nothing
wrong with them but have just lost the desire. But the only way to know is
to try it.
