Cialis side effects question
|
|

| Hi Everybody,
New to the group.
I tried Cialis a couple of times. The last time I did it, I felt like the
dose was just right, but the side effects...back aches afterwards were VERY
awful.
My question is... What is the cause of these side effects. Why the pain in
the buttocks and lower back. There seems to be no explaination given.
I need to know what this is. I haven't seen anything on the net about it so
far in my search. Is it that there is high levels of lactic acid building up
in the muscles? Is it that the chemicle itself is very aggitating to the
muscles tissue?
It seems to me that there must be some sort of damage happening to the body
from this very potent drug. What comes to mind is that the body is not meant
to be put in this aroused state for such a long time without some kind of
consequence.
If anyone knows where I can find more in depth info about this (great) drug.
Thank you,
Paul H

You did not say what dose you used. Many people are starting out at 20mg when
5 or 10 mg is all they need. After a certain point, increasing your dosage
will not improve your erection benefits. Since Cialis feels like it is not
working, many people mistakenly increase their dosage and that causes unneeded
pain.
Once your body adjusts to Cialis, you won't notice the pain. To prevent the
pain: Take three tablets and quarter them. Take a quarter table daily
(starting with the smallest "quarter") for the next 12 days. That is probably
enough to give you some immunity from the pain the next time you take a full
tablet. Notice that I wrote "tablet". That means your optimum dosage, not 20
mg.

Usually starts 20 to 36 hours after the pill was taken. It is not taking the
pill that causes it, but seems to be the dosage wearing off.
Can't answer that question, but I can tell you a cure that works within an
hour, for many people.
Drink a large (20 oz.) high caffeine and high sugar soft drink. My theory is
this has something to blood vessels dilation (which Cialis causes.) Walmart's
"Dr. Thunder" works miracles! Caffeine contracts the blood vessels.

| Thank you for your advice Mr Bricks (am I just imagining a Crazy Kat
reference in your name?)
My first dose was about 10 mg's. the second one was about 15mg's. I got side
effects on both..
Are you suggesting that after 12 days I should then immediately take a full
dose, or are you saying that, I will be free of symptoms even if I take C a
month later after the 12 day regime.
I will try the caffein drink next time. I usually drink some coffee anyway.

Quite so! My original descriptive screen name from 1997 had a very negative
implication, so I changed it. I felt most people here would connect with the
old Hearst Comic Strip, but apparently only a very few do.

No, I am suggesting that taking one quarter of the dose that caused you the
aches, for twelve days running, will allow your body to adjust to the medicine
and the aches will no longer be a problem.

I feel that the combination of high sugar content and high caffeine does it.
Caffeine alone does not seem to work.
