A neighbor who does not have a computer and can't access this group
had a scare the other day. He injected himself and the next day one
side of his penis was black and blue. He asked me what he did wrong.
I didn't know but several years ago that happened to me once. Did he
miss the spot??

Hi,

The best guess is that he put the syringe thru a surface artery outside the
cavity but under the skin of the penis. When the small blood vessel bleeds
under the skin, it gradually gets absorbed after looking purple for a few
days.

Not uncommon and usually you can see them if you keep your reading glasses
on.

Best to tease the penis to get some blood flow into the penis then squeeze
the blood toward the end inflating the injection site and hold firm during
the injection. This will also fill the surface vessels making it easier to
see where they are so you can miss them.
