Author *** HELP! Anyone know of an ATLANTA doctor who prescribe HCG for Hypogonadism?

I have Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism and my doctor has had me try
every form of TRT out there. He is the 3rd Endocrinologist I've had
since I first diagnosed my self about 5 years ago.

When I came to him over a year ago I was injecting 1.5 mg of
testosterone every two weeks.

We have come full circle now, after trying every other form of TRT,
and he can't see why any doctor would prescribe HCG over Testosterone,
unless fertility was an issue.

I want to try HCG, but I need a doctor in Atlanta. HELP!

By the way, My Testosterone levels have always come back below 200
except ONCE, they came in about 219, but we were at the maxiumum
recommended level of that TRT so we switched to something else.

I'm TIRED OF TRYING THINGS THAT DON'T WORK! ( for FIVE years)

For the last 5 years, trying TRT after TRT Nothing has improved!!

Very interesting. For three years now, I have been trying to get my T level
above 200 as well. I have tried injections, two different patches, creams
(as high as 20% formulation), and androgel. The closest I have been is 197,
which was with 10 grams a day of androgel). All other tests (prolactin,
estrogen, etc.) come back normal....but for some reason, my body just does
not absorb any of the TRT.

I'm thinking that Testosterone produced from my own body is better
than injecting it.

But, I haven't found a doctor willing to prescribe HCG unless I'm
trying to get my wife pregnant.

If I have to, I'll buy online, but I won't have access to labwork to
see what my levels are.

Hi,

Have you tried hormone pellets with enough to do the job? My doctor is Dr.
R. Don Gambrell of Augusta GA who says most of the non-pellet forms of T
therapy do not allow the level of T to rise high enough to get the benefit
of the high normal T levels.

I travel from upstate NY every 4 months to get my 20 - 75mg pellets under
the skin. He uses the dosage as follows:

Subtract 30 pounds from your total weight and then you need a 75mg pellet
for every 10 pounds of remaining weight. The max for a man is 20 pellet and
I weigh more than 230. Many doctors go by the instructions on the box and
only install about 1/2 to 2/3 that amount asw they do not have years of
experience with hormone therapy.

Hi,

I understand you feel strongly about the form of therapy but shouldn't you
really search for a very competent doctor like Dr. Gambrell, Augusta GA?

His web site is:

http://www.members.aol.com/gambr999/

Check his out on GOOGLE. He has been treating men for decades.
