| Hi,
If you have age related ED this could be one of the first of the symptoms.
As you get older the ability to achieve success will be tougher and you will
take more trouble to get conditions right. After a time the need for
hurrying to ejaculate before the erection fails will be a problem.
You can have nerve damage from a bike seat for instance or an injury that
can effect the erection process. There is a sequence of nerve actions
required for and to maintain an erection. Lack of firmness may also become a
plague that bites you.
It is not usually low T that causes erection problems but it does hit sex
drive for sure. Heard others swear testosterone conversion to estrogen can
be a very real cause for problems with sex drive and erections.
Low testosterone is not typically the cause of erection problems. ED has a
list of causes and treatments.
I traveled to Boston to see Dr. Irwin Goldstein, Boston Univ. It was
determined I suffered from age related nerve damage. He treated me with
injection therapy which is injections in the side of the penis and at 72 it
still works just great. Very firm "teen like erections" that last for 2 1/2
to 3 hours.
