It's been less often, but no matter how I try,
I just don't reach orgasm. What can cause this?

Are you using Viagra or similar?
This can make it more difficult to reach orgasm.

Oh, la la! See:

http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic2/tamsul_ad.htm

Abnormal ejaculation as listed by them is probably delayed or none.
I'm surprised you could even get it up. I couldn't. It was almost as
bad as Prozac.

Flomax blocks the A1 receptors thereby achieving its effect of
facilitating urination. However for ejaculation you want to leave the
A1 receptors working OK and block the A2 receptors.

You could stop taking Flomax or if that's not possible try the
following:

Ask your MD for a prescription for Yohimbine:

http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/yohimb.htm

$22 for 90 tablets at Drugstore.com. Ignore prescribing instructions.
Start with 1/4 tablet a day, one hour before sex. Up the dosage in
increments of 1/4 tab if necessary. Don't exceed 3 tabs per day.

This drug only seems to work for about 30% of males--the others call
it a placebo as do some MD's--probably due to the sensitivity of the
A2 receptors or their number in the susceptible males. The whole area
is regrettably poorly researched.
