For those of you who use Trimix:

1) What the the frequency of injections allowed on your prescription?
(once a week, every other day, whatever)

2) Do you use it, or have you used it more frequently than you were told
you should?

3) If so, have you noticed any difference in its effectiveness or any
negative results of that more frequent use?

Thanks,

Jim

avocet, I am single and use my Trimix only approx once a week, sometimes
once in two weeks. But, I have recently reached 2 years use and I am
requiring more T get the same effect. I talked to a pharmacist at Applied
(Gulf South) yesterday and am uping my mixture to 10/30/1 for my next
prescription. There has been a significant reduction in effectiveness.
Another possibility is the increase in girth, possibly from the use of T and
my use of a pump, also to add to the girth. Maybe, the greater the size of
the cylinders (corpus cavernosum), the more T required for the same effect.
What do you think?

Size increase is common with regular pumping however this isn't going to
require an increase in your Trimix dosage or the strength of it. Reason is,
regular pumping (you have to keep at it) causes your penile arterial blood
delivery to increase comparitively speaking. This keeps up with whatever
girth increase you are gradually getting in the cavernosal chambers.

My uro recently established 10/30/1 for all his patients - an increase of
about 10% over what he prescribed before. Easier for the pharmacy to
formulate than the old 8.33/ etc. You will probably like this better once
you figure out your own best dosage, which has taken me some tinkering.
(Ain't science fun?) Cheaper in the long run but it is definitely stronger.

My guess is that whatever is the root cause of your ED has worsened some
during these two years. As with Viagra, the effect of Trimix usually does
not decrease over time unless the degree of one's ED has increased. Try to
find out specifically what the cause is in your case if you do not know
already and take steps to hold it in check.

Once in 24 hours.

No. If I were younger, maybe. My back won't take the strain.

The dosage remains the same, however the penis pain from use seems to have
increased slightly.

Since I obtained the generic Viagra--for the last 4 months, I have been using a
combination of generic cialis and viagra and am giving Trimix time off to see
if this pain reduces when I resume injecting.

It's been so long since I've seen my uro that I don't remember. But he
understood that I knew what I was doing. I believe my first one said "three
times a week."

More frequent.

No.

Is the pain from being too hard? Or the nut-ache pain?

Hi,

1. Told to use it no more than 3 times a week but tried it more often.

2. The injection works once a day with a slight increase of 10% to get the
same effect. When I tried to use if after 8 hours or less, nothing happened.
I did not dare incresing the dosage immediately to see how much it would
take to get a reaction.

3. So far small change in effectiveness after 10 years. Started with 0.7cc
and now use 0.9cc. No adverse effects so far.
Local uro who doesn't provide injection therapy, told me it would really be
bad if I continued to use it and is very dissapointed to find no damage
after 10 years.

Thanks for the informative answer Jim. You are right, I don't know the
cause of my ED. I always thought it was hormonal, but have never done the
blood work. Now you have me thinking. Til

It is a general sourness in the penis during intercourse and for 12-24 hours
after use that seems unrelated to hardness.

I feel the pain increase is caused by me developing a sensitivity to the
medication.

When I was a kid, I was immune to poison ivy. I developed an extreme
sensitivity to poison ivy and cow sore vine from mowing the lawn at my former
residence in West Tennessee. Since I have lived at another state for the last
twenty, just being close to poison ivy (Don't see cow sore vine up here) no
longer gets me. My initial reaction is that this is working by a similar
route.

That is why I have quit using it for about four months.

If that is the case, it will not be there when I resume.

Also, I am going to switch suppliers of Trimix and see if that, too, is a cause
or contributor.

Avocet,

I misread your question.

I thought you were asking about long term use, not too frequent use.

My answer refers to almost 5 years of injecting.
