| After waiting for several months, I finally decided to order some generic
Viagra from India. I hesitated because of hearing the Indian stuff was no
good, illegal, etc., but saw enough satisfied people here to give it a try.
It has been several weeks now, and no package. I got a tracking number, and
see that my order has been in US Customs for ten days. Is this normal, or
does it look like my order died in customs? If US Customs has taken my
order, will I get arrested? Should I try to have the charge removed from my
credit card?

| I tried to send a scan of the letter, but it was rejected because I tried to
send it as an attachment. I guess I will have to do a text scan and paste
it in....I wanted to send it as a jpeg, so you guys could see it was an
official letter. Will do the text scan, though.

There are numerous Indian web pharmacies. Whom did you order from?
I used to order from importeddrugs.com. I got half a dozen orders in
before the FDA started seizing 100% of their shipments to the U.S. and
put them out of business. I did lose an order to customs, but
importeddrugs.com refunded the money in full.
Now I order from alldaychemist.com in India and get excellent service.
The first order arrived exactly as agreed in about ten days. I just
placed my second order with them.
As for effectiveness, their drugs are just as effective as anything
you buy in the U.S. When you are unfamiliar with another country your
tendency is to assume the worst, but Indian drug manufacturers are
just as reliable as those in the U.S. As for those who worry that the
drugs were produced on the street with an open sewer running by, even
if that were possible for the kinds of drugs people here are
interested in acquiring, such persons wouldn't be likely to have the
ability to maintain a web site and credit card ordering facilities.
As for legality, I have yet to hear of the FDA or U.S. Customs going
after anyone. All they do is seize the shipment. You are 99.99% safe.
However, you should e-mail the provider and let them know what is
happening.

It's difficult to speak for Customs practices in countries other than the US as
there are not a lot of reports. In the US, mny packages are diverted for Customs
inspection, but due to the volume involved, the majority are passed on without
opening. Those that are opened that do not appear to be narcotics tend to be
resealed and sent on as well. Occasionally someone will get a letter that states
the medication does not appear to be approved for import in the US and asking
the recipient to provide evidence of approval. If evidence isn't provided, it
gets sold on eBay as government surplus (just kidding).

| Well, my wait is over. I got a letter yesterday frrom US Customs that my
order has been seized and that they will not take any action this time, but
if I order medications from overseas again, I may be liable to federal
prosecution. I guess it is back to paying nine dollars a tablet for Viagra.

| No you can't get arrested for it as long as it is for personal use. I found
a great site for generic viagra and cialis.
http://www.pure-generic-cialis.com/ they only deal with cialis the other
one is http://www.cheaprxmedsonline.com/ I ordered from "Quality Generic"
at the site. I bought the 100mg pills and then cut the pills in half 50mg
works great for me its easy to do with a pair of scissors.
