Which is proof that FDA regulation of pharmaceuticals isn't working.
Without severe penalties, an end to pharma-funding of FDA's budget, and
independent scientific studies over which the drug makers have no right
to supress or control, there will be more drugs like Vioxx, Baycol,
Bextra, Hismanal, Propulsid, Posicor, Seldane, and many others.

I've seen your crocodile PR tears, Markey. Do you need a hankey?

Theft of a company's resources for personal gain isn't comparable to
lax regulatory oversight of pharmaceutical drugs, Markey. Even now,
Vioxx is making money for Merck, while literally thouands of court
cases remain to be heard, which shows how corrupt FDA and Merck really
are.
