No one has defended Vioxx or the manufacturer in these newsgroups. The
manufacturer was aware of the problem and hid it.

If you can fire up the last remaining gray cell and get your memory to
work, you may recall that when the story broke I wanted a criminal
investigation. In NY we have a murder statue called "Depraved
Indifference Homicide" and IMNSHO, this would fall under that law.

Have you seen any repeats of Enron since the prosecutions? I haven't.
