Keep others out of Cherrix decision
http://www.delmarvanow.com/easterns...02/2313710.html
I was fortunate enough to survive serious cancer when I was 16 years
old.
I had strong support from my family and friends. My mom had choices to
make in my treatment, and included me in those choices.
Fortunately, it was unheard of to have a third party interfere.
It is appalling that Social Services and Children's Hospital of the
King's Daughters have inserted themselves in demanding their brand of
care for young Abraham Cherrix.
Many, many times the treatment given is far worse than the disease. I
fully support the family and the patient. He has been through enough
to be able to participate in the decisions for his care. I say that
all of the third parties need to back off.
Best wishes to you, young Mr. Cherrix.
