I think it time to mention standard English usage.
When I used "non sequitur" I did not refer to an analogy or metaphor.
Your reference is to my use of metaphor.
Now YOUR job is to show how it's not one, and that it doesn't refer to
what proceeded it.
Because metaphors are NOT supposed to be duplicates of what they reflect
you certainly have your work cut out for you.
