The safety of the vaccine itself is not in issue. The company, Chiron
played fast and loose with the manufacturing process and was scorched
accordingly. Good.

Great article about how the polio vaccine is saving lives. The reference
to post-polio syndrome is quite informative. The survivors are forever
impaired, and the impairment gets worse with time. This is an excellent
article in support of vaccination. I assume that you did not read it.

I especially like the old picture of the kids stacked up in a
mult-tiered iron lung. Sort of reminds me of a mausoleum. You must enjoy
that, too, but for different reasons.
