| Regarding the news of Echinacea not being a valid treatment for the
common cold:

The most telling comment was this:
"Our study ... adds to the accumulating evidence that suggests that
the burden of proof should lie with those who advocate this
treatment," wrote Dr. Ronald Turner.
However I believe people will continue to believe in Echinacea despite
evidence, primarily because distrust of scientific evidence is becoming
part of popular culture. People want to believe what they do,
regardless of what their doctors tell them.
The study was funded (using tax dollars) at the behest of an
alternative med group that expected different findings.

How much did the pharmaceutical industry pay you for your post?
Alot of people, like me, use echanachea regularly, and it works...that
is why we believe it, because it works. Regardless what the 'experts'
say...it friggin works!
Pharmaceutical companies just want to make money, bottom line. If they
cured the common cold they would lose Billions of dollars in annual
sales of Nyquil, Alka setzer plus, antibiotics, and cough drops! That is
Billions with a 'B'! That is why they would have a distinct motive to
'suppress' any kind of 'natural' and 'unpatentable' cure for the common
cold. They would even pay Doctors (experts) to lie and slant test
results so they can sell the public more Robitussen BS!...ROTFLMAO...
Robitussen BS...I just thought of that...LMAO!
Monopolist bastards! The natural cure revolution is at hand...it is
unstoppable...it is immanent...deal with it Dr. drugs!...Your days are
numbered....

| Kevin Trudeau is a quack who will someday be discredited. I guarantee
any doctor in the A.M.A. wouldn't recommend him.
