| If you don't know who Scott Millington is, you must be new to the emergency

I too corresponded with Scott, and consider myself fortunate to have
been stimulated by his bright mind. May he rest in peace, knowing that
in this all too hectic world, he did indeed make a difference.
I had always fancied myself as breaking bread with Scott when I had
some reason to visit Sweden - as did he when he might just happen to be
in California. Sadly that will never be. I will however, always be thankful
for his friend- and mentorship.
With a heavy heart and a sullen reminder to pursue my heartfelt desires
in a timely fashion,
Brian Humphrey

| I exchanged emails off list with Scott on a couple of occasions, I liked
the man and incidentally his "attitude" towards the unhinged spammer who
precipitated alt.emergency-services.moderated

| This is terrible news.
He did have the ability to bring things back down to earth, now didn't
he? I knew he was living in a foreign place and I always admired his
sense of adventure for being able to do so. Maybe more so I admired
his ability to raise a family in such an environment.
My condolences to his family.

| In the end, I remain hopeful that Scott's dreams did come true:

.....by any measure, his was a life lived to it's fullest. May we all be
inspired to do the same.

Like a lot of folks on the 'net, we didn't know Scott personally, we only
knew what he did. And to many, that is sufficient to know he was a
valuable member of our society.
My condolences to his friends and family.
