Author Pennsylvania Building/Fire Codes?

Weird situation... I have a "friend" who is cooling the computer room
with a portable air conditioner and venting the A/C heat into the
attic. I'm told from another group that this is against most building
codes. Basically I want to look up where this is made into law. I'm
an IT guy and I don't have a clue where I can even begin to look this
stuff up. I'm really a fish out of water here.

Basically i want somethign to print out and shove it in his face.
