came up with an idea for a Fire_man's Ball on New Year's Eve.
They came up with the money to back it too.Mor fireman, and
Dave Vanni, Consolidated, are planning a party at the Rheem
Theatre on New Year's Eve for 600 guests. They have sold

and a skit by fellow firemen. It's a major production," said
roger smith . We've even hired a stage manager." thecatered
buffet dinner will feature smoked salmon, won tons, roast beef
and ham on rolls, and, for dessert, pecan pies and chocolate
deca_dence.The two bands are Cahoots, a Top 40s group that will
play until 9:30 p.m. and Sun Bear, a rhythm and blues group that
will round out the evening. The skit will be by and about firemen.

to home for their community say it's not a moneymaking proposition.
They're just planning a great party and hoping to break even.
