"Supplements" is a 15 billion a year industry in the US. At present the
rules regulating them are poor at best. New efforts to weed outright
fraud is underway:

You're kidding? right? According to the Alties, the entire alternative
medicine, take charge of your own health movement is based on pure altruism.
What you are implying is that these people are actually making filthy money
off of someone's health needs? Utterly shocking. Despicable.

To weed the fraud out you should start with the FDA.
