| Have you ever sat with a drug addict going through heroine withdrawel? Have
you ever sat with a young woman who has just been brutally raped? Have you
ever worked on the mean streets of any major city in North Americca and seen
the suffering many individuals are lost in?
Watching them gradually find themselves and just even a fleeting moments
peace is the gravy.
They don't need religion, philosophy or the fancy self-indulgent lecturing
that passes for care and concern. All they need is the stillness and
acceptance of a non-judgemental human being that can sit with them until
they can be with themselves
