For me, it isn't so much about slave and master as it is about recognizing
an individual that has attained a level of enlightenment, liberation, union
or whatever you want to call it.

Is this not setting yourself above others by implying that you have
something to hand down to them. Isn't there a danger that the person you are
helping will set you up as a master, a saviour, a guru? As soon as you
perceive someone as lacking something, you are setting yourself above
them....or at least better than them.

This is the only thing that really confuses me. First you invite people to
submit an answer. Then, before anyone replys, you insult them by telling
them thast they are confused for doing so.
Please explain what you mean when you say "stop exonerating others"?

I find beliefs require judgements and judgements require certain biases and
prejudices which is all ego stuff.
The most solid ground I have experienced is the boundless silence of deep
meditation. There are no boundaries as my awareness of Self is limitless. All
labels and judgements are dissolved within the expansive experience of pure
existance beyond labels, names, words and thoughts.
It is truly the fulfillment of "All This Is That"

When I call someone a master, I;m just recognizing that they have
accomplished some degree of mastry in some specific area of life...like a
master mechanic, a master craftsman, a master of Ti Chi etc. I don't see
that as giving away some aspect of myself but simply honoring some degree of
refinement within myself. I could not recognize in the other person an
aspect or quality that I don't carry within myself.

I do realize that a deep level, we are all one. As it says in the
Upanishads: I Am That, Thou Art That, All This Is That.
When I look at a person I see them in this light no matter how much pain and
anguish they may be experiencing at the time.
They don't require my benevelance or hand me down generousity. All they need
is my unconditional love and acceptance even when they are incapable of
loving or accepting themselves.
