To all the peace supporters on this planet

If you are at the peace side on this planet, you should show it...
Kindly check the address, and see if it is feasible for you to sign ,if
not never mind.
As I live in this planet, I have to be carefull about this war
action...Because it will take all the Middle East soon, if we can not
stop it...
Therefore I think all of you will show a great understanding on this
matter. I am sorry if I have bother yourselves.

Looks like a war-like declaration and a fear/hate filled document to
me. If I was interested in peace why in the world would I sign this?
Puma, maybe we can get this post back on topic, otherwise someone might
think you are trolling :-)
Here are a couple of discussions on alt.yoga concerning yoga and this
same war. We still have the war and we still have yoga. And at the end
of the day its still our choice.

Every body has a different perception,,,To me there are reasons like
stoping the war...
If you do not feel this way,,, it is fine,,, no pressure at all for
signing it,,,
Actually this is the war between US Government and all other nations in
Middle East...
As you are far away from Middle East,,, you have no fear,,, no
hate,,,but for people living in Middle East it is not Israel bombing
at lebanon,,, it is US, UK, and Israel,,,
US has decided to change the borders of the countries in Midddle
East,,, And they think they will succeed it....When one hears this ,,
can not stay on his/her chair...Particularly YOGA applying people
should try all the doors,, to stop this KILLING CHILDREN,ELDERLY PEOPLE
and innocent persons...The aim is this...
People in Midddle East have started to sign this...
Considering it might help a bit...
However there is an UNIVERSAL LAW;;; It states that
WHATEVER YOU DO YOU WILL GET THE SAME...

| If it helps, I can't see our (UK) current government surviving the next
election. The press are starting to lay into them now, not only on the
war but on domestic issues too. They barely scraped through the last
election, with the opposition actually getting more votes in England.
I don't know if the next lot will be any better, but I wouldn't be
surprised if the opposition get votes by mentioning the war. A lot of
people in the UK are protesting against the war.
I think the best things that could happen would be for Isreal and Hisbola
to make peace, and for the Sunni and Shia to make peace, forget why they
seem to hate eachother and work on working forward. They all seem to
need a bit of yoga in their lives!
I hear that a lot of people are doing real good things. A company near
here has arranged for food to be sent out for example.

I know that any yogi is against any war...And this war is actually not
in between Israel and Hisbullah, It is in between US and all the
Middleeast nations... Rice clearly has said that the national borders
in Middle East will be changed in accordance with US pleasure...
And all the medical and human aids to lebanon are not allowed by
Israel,,,All the roads are being bombed by Israel,,,so no one can help
those poor people in Lebanon,,,

Hmmm...
I don't recognize your nym. Are you new to alt.yoga. If you are then
welcome :-)
Puma must have close to a thousand posts to alt.yoga. It's hard to tell
because of some nym-shifting.
Jared has a thousand+ And he's shifted also.
It seems Dion has 1.
I'll let you do the math.
Then I'm wondering if you really have any business asking a question
like this?

I must say it's been a good month for that. I swear someone parked a
troll bus outside of alt.yoga and let everyone out :-)

I'm don't nym shift. I visit alt.yoga from time to time in a lurk mode. I am
an alt.politics junky myself. Started Usenet in the alt.support.stop-smoking
group back in 2002. As for what business I have in asking if you're
attempting to silence puma, why should I not post what I want? You wonder
*what business I have in posting*. One post by you to silence puma is all it
took to get me to post. Maybe you need a moderated group to have more
control over. The troll bus wont pull up at your bus stop if you don't wave
it down. Now I have 2 posts in alt.yoga. Both could be considered *trollish*
yet I hope to only end a form of censorship. Censorship by playing the troll
card.

Of course what you said about the attempt to censor by "troll card" is
reasonable. Except that we know there is technically no way to censor
usenet.
My main point was that if you come into a news group and read the
lastest posts and sort of get a feel for who the members are and what
they are talking about you will be less likely to misinterprete the
bantering of two friends for some heinous crime like censorship :-)
And just in case, despite what I have said, you still feel deep down
inside, that I was trying to discourage Puma from making an "off-topic"
post; you are absolutely correct! Just like you were trying to
discourage me from playing my "troll card" :-)
