Transmuting negative consciousness imprints

| A good way to change the negative imprints contained in someone's
consciousness is to look at the first impressions mind makes of them;
then recognize them for what they are; and then see through them and
overcome them by directed thought to the contrary.
There are plenty of signs that people wear on their faces, and
impressions in their aura, as a result of nastiness directed against
them, that they would rather not have. And the impression mind makes of
them as it directs itself at them is a copy of those signs. And to see
the person, it becomes necessary to see past all such things and look
deeper. But there is something that some of us can do that is even more
meaningful and that is:
Deliberately reverse those imprints.
When I was in an AA meeting, I was sitting across from a sweet and very
sensitive-looking young lady. The thoughts that were coming to my head
despite my choices were negative to her ("she's a slut") so I
deliberately thought to the contrary ("She's not a social label, she's
what she is inherently and what she is in eyes of God"). From being
very distressed she started smiling; and then when I shared I said what
I'm saying now: That the way to reverse negative consciousness imprints
is to think their opposite - and the more one does the more energy one
sends to the contrary and the more energy is from that imprint taken
away, resulting in lesser power of that imprint and greater chance at a
life without it.
Doing that for friends can be quite a favor. And for strangers as well.

The following vague terms are, apparantly purposely undefined:
Transmute
Imprint
Negative
"negative imprints contained in someone's conciousness"
BTW: "reversing" and "transmuting" are not the same thing.
Are you taking the long way 'round to say:
"Don't judge a book by it's cover"?
