I am with you guys on this one. Nietzsche suggested that the ancient
Greeks and Romans practiced a form of morality he called master
morality. Right and wrong is determined by legislatures. Humans
discuss issues make arguments as to what is correct under the law.
Unfortunately, Christianity's rise ended the support of this form of
morality.

Dogma is above all what Nietzsche termed slave morality. This is the
sort of morality preached by the Church. Slaves are given lists of
rules that have to live by. The bible tells a person wrong from write.
The Church authorities are the arbitrators.

We are very fortunate to be living in a time after the enlightenment.
Thinkers of the 15th century understood that morality is under man's
jurisdiction. God will take care of enforcing god's laws.

Too bad there are still those who cling to dogma as a form of morality.
