| Hi Puma,
Well of course 'everything is everything'. That is not the issue.
Even seven year olds can comprehend that. The big issue is in the
quesiton, Why am I here on this planet? What am I here to realize in
this life?
These are just my current thoughts. I'm just speculating here. I'm
not a saint. If I ever become God realised, then perhaps this will all
be rubbish. I don't know.
When I say God - there are different structures to God. In the
universe there are elements and space, there are different worlds.
Some get destroyed. God is eternal though. God is love. We, at our
core level are souls that have an eternal conection to God. We are
that. Love is our true nature. Love feels good. Love is happiness
and bliss. Love is what you enjoy. Everything else is a
missunderstanding.
Yoga isn't about becoming indifferent to suffering or evil, or about
accepting it as a part of life. It is about connecting to God. If you
identify your true nature with anything else but love or God- then
there is suffering. When you connect- that's love also. Everything
else becomes an illusion. When you expereince difficulties or
suffering, that's all an illusion too (When you're connected to God
that is). Suffering causes you to look for God. For example. Where
is my peace? Where is love? Suffering doesn't feel right. I've lost
something, and now where do I go? How can I norish my soul? How can I
feel at home? If love exists, where can I find it? Where is my
security?
When I refere to God, I'm not talking about things that come and go.
I'm talking about the source of everything else. Like in some indian
traditions, Shiva is the highest person to reach in the universe. He
is the pure consciousness, the infinate, and is often refered to as the
sky. God is the highest aspect. We just need to re-discover our
connection to God. This involves experiencing love, conncecting to
others through love, and loving others. Just one taste of love can
hook you to want more. Love is the only way to feel at peace. Love is
normal. Happiness is our goal- that's why we feel suffering. That's
the game we decided to play.
Everytime we take one more step towards our goal, it creates more
joy.
