Now take it to the next level...
Light and dark. There is no such thing as darkness. There is Light and
there is the absence of Light, which we symbolize as darkness. But
darkness does not in fact exist. Can we not see in the dark? Yes... Can
we bump our knee and feel great pain in the dark? Yes... Can we plunge
off a cliff to our deaths in the darkness? Yes we can... But the cause
is not darkness but the absence of Light. Light has no opposite: God is
Light.
Hot and cold. There is no such thing as cold. There is an absence of
heat which we symbolize as cold. Do we feel uncomfortable when it is
cold? Yes... Will water freeze into ice and cause our car to slide and
skid when it is cold? Yes... Can our life end when the blood in our
body freezes? Absolutely... But the cause is not cold because it does
not exist, the cause is the absence of Heat. Heat has no opposite;
neither does God.
Life and death. There is no such thing as death. Death doesn't exist.
What we symbolize as death is an absence of Life. Can you fill in the
rest?
Love and hate.
Good and evil.
Now and past.
Now and future.
God has not opposite. The Universe has no opposites. A pencil has one
end and another and we call these opposite ends of the pencil. But the
writing end is not the pencil; the erasing side is not the pencil. The
Pencil has no opposites; the pencil is what exists!
Think about it. Meditate on it. Question it. Fight it. Resist as hard
as you can! But in the end this is where ardent inquiry will take you.
This is where the most skilled and passionate skeptic will end up. This
is where a the greatest scientists (like Einstein) must arrive. There
is no other f**king place to go. There is only God and you and I can
only end up right where we are... Which is in and of and as whatever
God it!
There is only God.
God is Love. There is only Love. Love has no opposite. Hate, fear,
discontent, evil, suffering; these are all symbols that describe and
absence of Love. They have no real existence.
God is Truth; There is no opposite of Truth. Lies and falsehoods can
and do not exist. What we describe as lies are nothing more then the
absence of Truth. They are a symbol for a state of non-existence of
Truth.
God is Life; There is no opposite of Life.
God Intelligence: there is no opposite of Intelligence.
God is Principle; there is no opposite of principle.
God is Soul; there is no opposite of Soul.
God is Spirit; there is no opposite of Spirit.
The Universe is not built of opposites. The Universe is Binary. 0 or
1. Either is is on or it is off. Either it exists or it doesn't. But it
has no opposite. The Universe is Absolute!
God is Absolute!
There is only God!
God is Love!
Ergo, there is only Love!
