Are you already living in India? If so, Transcendental Meditation is cheap
there, and is quite good at helping control high blood pressure.

Where do I find it in India? I am going there. I shall appreciate your
suggestions.

I don't know if they are willing to teach Westerners there, however. At
least with some things they teach, they prefer you to learn in your home
country.

| The Sivananda centers/ashrams are among the most highly thought of in
all the world, including India. They teach classic hatha yoga,
mediation and breathing. The cost is very reasonable and can be little
or nothing if you reside/work with them. They may even have a center
near you in which you can start prior to going to india.

Take a look around their site; contact them by phone or email to ask
questions to decide for yourself. I have stayed with them briefly at an
ashram in California and I will attest to their quality, sincerity and
skill. For a residential learning experience I don't think you can do
better.
Good Luck
