You have asked such a nice question. I take your question as a very
substantial warning.
Therefore all I can say on this matter that stating YOGA and
MEDITATION means the IGNORANCE only... Because MEDITATION is within
the YOGA.
Some people even some yoga teachers (???) show this ignorance ! As
YOGA has 8 steps.
YAMA
NIYAMA
ASANA
PRANAYAMA
PRATYAHARA
DHARANA
DHYANA
SAMADHI
Dharana ,dhyana, samadhi all together are called meditation...
So trying to separate these is not a good act. It is ASATYA actually.
Or you may say
AVIDYA...
